The Intro to Block Based Programming series
Programming has to be fun and achievable in order to keep going, therefore we need to be more inclusive towards learners without any prior knowledge. Block based programming environments are the most appropriate tools to achieve this.
In block-based programming environments, one can see all the blocks (kinda like Lego blocks) and can easily discover what commands and operations are possible. The block shapes allow blocks to be plugged together whenever if they can fit with each other in syntactically correct manner. Simply put, this kind of environment can provide easy operations for novice users and improves the readability of programs for advanced coders.
